Western Perspective

From a Western perspective, aches and pains have many possible causes that can include acute traumas, inflammation, swelling, tissue tears, and nerve damage to name but a few. Some forms of pain can be cured while others (ie. bone on bone joint pain) can be treated symptomatically. The most common Western interventions are ice, pain relievers, steroids, muscle relaxants, nerve blockers, and surgical interventions.

Oriental Medical Perspective

Oriental medicine looks at aches and pains as originating from problems with Qi: excessive movements of any of the Five Elements, blockages in energy channels, stagnation of the movement of blood, tissue tears, tissue prolapses, and pent up emotions of an excessive nature. It is important to mention that icing any pain is actually considered a negative factor as it increases Water Qi excess and will likely turn an acute pain into a chronic one from the Eastern medical model.

Aches Qi Infusion

This Infusion focuses on healing the energy of the body so that the symptoms of pain will improve or resolve. The methods employed clear energy blockages, balance the Five Elements, invigorate the energy where necessary, and heal energy prolapses as required. Pain is such an incredibly complicated issue that sadly no one remedy is likely to solve every possible causal factor. But this wide spectrum approach is designed to address the most likely issues.

When To Use

This remedy should be used three times a day for as long as it takes for the pain symptoms to reduce or resolve. You can also take it as needed for acute symptomatic relief. Be patient. It may take a few weeks of daily use to see consistent symptomatic improvements especially for pains that are years old.

Other Recommended Products

You can use this remedy for headaches, but you may find the Tranq and Sinus treatments to also be helpful for head pains. Some unresponsive throbbing headaches can be caused by various flu viruses. The Flu treatment may help best in this case. Headaches with constipation can sometimes best be treated first by clearing the constipation. Some constipation medicines may increase the likelihood of headaches. Consider the Bowels Constipation treatment in that case to see if clearing the constipation reduces the frequency of headaches. For acute injuries, also use the Acute Injuries Qi Infusion™. For any low back pain or sciatica pain, consider the Back & Spine Qi Infusion.
